Followin Jak’s drop out of the Buried Alive tutorial, you guys can leave any questions you have here and I or anyone else who knows the answer can reply
@andrew Both of them have their difficult spots. But I would have to say the beginning for buried alive is far more difficult because you have to pay attention to a lot more of the dynamics. For example you have situations of where the bass line is the melody so you want to make sure the bass line is louder than the treble strings. And then at the same point, you have it where it changes to where the treble strings are the moving melody and you have to make sure you pluck those hard enough to where it carries over the bass line. There’s also a lot of Barre chord work that can be tricky. But as far as so far away goes, once you get the jingle of it it becomes an effortless pattern
Totally agree with what Jak said. The so far away interlude has easier finger positions and no complex sliding/pull off and hammer on work like the buried alive intro. I suggest lesrning the interlude before the intro so you get used to fingerpicking work and only then start incorporating the more difficult left hand work of buried alive
