Can someone test me with a chord progression? (Rick Beato study)

Hey there everyone! I’m looking for another person to help me out with a chord progression so that I can figure out the key signature of it. I tried to test myself with something online but nothing like that exists as far as I can find. You’re more than welcome to add seventh chords just please don’t make it a minor key. I haven’t worked on that yet. IDs was very kind to help me out last time but it kind of got a little weird because none of us actually knew what we were doing with the key signature lol! If you know a progression and would like to share it with me, I’d be more than thankful for it so I can work on naming key signatures by looking at the progression. Thank you all so much! Going to start work on the testimonial video today for everyone!

Thank you for that progression idea! But I still don’t think you’re playing in B minor. Like I keep saying the key of B minor your F sharp chord would have to be a minor chord and it’s not in your progression that you had. Not to mention you had three different dominant chords so it was really difficult to determine the key signature based off of that. It would be really awesome if Papa Gates or Synyster Gates commented on that for sure. And I could be wrong but if I am wrong I want to know why I’m wrong. Or maybe you can tell me why you believe it’s in the key of B minor. I think it would be great to hear your point of view.

Yes it’s weird with the 3 dominant chords but effectively it’s really just Hotel California but a little bit more gypsy jazz (I made the chords 6s and 7ths) but that doesn’the nescarily mean it is not in Bm anymore. The chord progression of Hotel california is simply Bm|F#|A|E|G|D|Em|F#. Which really is in Bm. Remember that in a key or scale you can also leave out notes are notes that are not nescecarily in the scale for example soloing over Hey Joe can be done in Em pentatonic even though the E chord in that progression is Emaj and not E so you would say it’s wrong to solo in G but it isn’t. It’s all in the color tones you decide to choose and in Hotel California or that particulnar progression you can leave out the minor or major third of the F# making it in Bminor
