I’m wondering how people are able to switch between distorted tones and a clean tone in the middle of a song. I’ve noticed people do something with the effects on the guitar to make it sound clean. For example syn does this before he plays the interlude on so far away.
Foot switch like with the axe-fx you have a floorboard with a bunch of presets and you can just press one and change the tone.
Or effect pedals where people go and tap dance for a bit
Yes exactly. Though in syn’s case, I think its probably his guitar tech who switches him for him backstage since im pretty sure he knows the whole set and he knows exactly when to switch. I dont think ive ever seen a pedal board on avenged’s stage in years
Yep, all true. My first amp had that feature, the Fender Mustang. With a footpedal you could switch between two saved channels. Damn I miss that feature.
