Cheap guitar suggestions?

So I just had to retire my second oldest guitar due to complete wiring failure. Have had it since 2014 (bought used) and played it a ton. But it was a cheap fender starcaster (yes starcaster not stratocaster) and I was looking to replace it. Any good suggestions for a cheap guitar ($300 or lower) for me to replace it with?

i have a bc rich mockingbird first generation, its a cool looking and is easily customizable so feel free to keep it stock or customize it
Im only 16 so if i cant repair guitars anyone can.

I own a Jackson js32q dka, it’s a dinky (7/8 size) and features a floyd style bridge, it plays incredibly well and stays in tune excellent, Slap some emgs or blackouts in and you have a guitar you can use forever.

They also do colours like neon orange but those dont feature a quilt maple top /veneer

i havea custom jackson from the guitar center anniversary, there was only 100 made, that is my go to guitar but its really expensive so i like to reccomend cheap guitars to upgrade

A dean vendetta, it’s made well. It’s only $100 or so. It’s what I use and it’s lasted 4 years. It can do any tone you want pretty much you just will need a little umph from an amp or somthing.

I may have to give that vendetta a try. Deans a damn good brand and it looks like a solid build

It definitely is. It gets me through blues, jazz, metal, and whatever else I play. The neck pickup is super clean, the bridge has a tinge of higher gain and if you use a pedal or turn your amps gain up it really does shine.
