Keep posting your videos. Lots of people are watching – including Syn & me! I know the comments are down and we are as frustrated as you are. Keep posting. Keep learning. Keep sharing your knowledge! We will get through this together!
Cheers!

I try to post everything I post on Instagram on the riff page as well(also because Instagram cuts off the video after a minute). As far as sharing the knowledge I’m kinda waiting for the academic year to be finished so I can have some time to make the lessons I want to make. Namely, minor swing, one on picking and one on using different scales over different chords(I may have forgotten one but I asked whether anyone has a request for lessons a long time ago and my memory doesn’t always serve me well )

Thank you so much for addressing this! That was why I issued the contest for May was to try to get more people to post there. I knew you and Syn loved watching them and the rest of us like watching other students as well!
Let’s keep going everyone! Myself included!

I will create many videos in the following weeks. I want to record and show my progress.
I improved so much since I start learning and practicing here!
My main goals now is practice on timing and on picking (sweeping and economy). So I practice everyday on these and try my luck with The Wicked End solo trying to combine all these three

A new string…and it’s probably stupid simple but I’ve been on a budget crunch, determined to pay down/off some debt, so I haven’t been able to get strings. There’s a shop in town that will restring it for me, but see above budget crunch =). That and I have no clue on strings. I think I asked some string questions before but it’s about a year and I haven’t been on enough lately to go back and search for the thread =(.

No guitarist should ever pay someone else to change their strings. A set of basic strings is about $5 US. A cheap string winder, maybe $3. I can walk you through it. If you really only need the one string, most guitar shops will sell ONE STRING for about $1 US.
Does the guitar have a whammy bar or is the bridge fixed? Do you know what gauge is on it now?

@ Kelly, Ed’s advice is spot on, changing strings is both cheap and easy.
Also, a tip, if you are looking for a thread you have started or posted in, go to your profile, you will see a link for forum topics and forum replies that will list threads you have created and those you have commented in respectively.
