JOIN THE DISCORD VIEW THREADThat's why I made sure to add the as much to it. There are definitely people who utilize the techniques but is it really all that common in general acoustic playing? I can't think of anything off of the top of my head but I'd love to hear some. Spanish Fly by Van Halen comes to mind when I think of acoustic tapping. Can't think of any sweep picking on hand but I have no doubt Syn and others have more than likely used it.Sweeping is all over acoustic.. syn and pg aree beasts at it. You can definitely utilize everything.
I'm 100% convinced those lessons are not tied to a Genre. I mean look at the beginner section. Chords, chords, chords. Ist there anything more suited for an acoustic? Especially in the intermediate / advanced section the might be Lessons that introduce techniques often used in certain Genres but at this Point you can really skip what you don't like / needi am an acoustic guitar beginner. it seems like this site is rock genre friendly. will this help me with my acoustic guitar skills?
Sweeping and economy picking are very fundamental gypsy jazz techniques and gypsy jazz is generally played on acoustic guitars. Can't think of any sweep picking on hand but I have no doubt Syn and others have more than likely used it.

Django is always a good choice! He's my favourite jazz guitar player and one of my favourites of all time! Try I'll see you in my DreamsI didn't know that! Thanks for letting me know Ids! Dude can you imagine perfecting tapping on an acousticMost definitely so! Some techniques won't really be used as much on acoustic like say tapping or sweep picking but the lessons here are great for learning to play guitar!
I feel like the amount of time it would take to perfect acoustic tapping would lead to you having callouses that are tougher than steel! No more finger tip pain!Dude can you imagine perfecting tapping on an acoustic
