JOIN THE DISCORD VIEW THREADI think that’s a great idea!Hey there everyone! I know I've posted a lot today. It's because literally today is nothing but music and it's exciting. I'm taking myself back to when I was a beginner with many different things. Like right now I'm practicing some parts of the etudes, and it reminds me of the days when strumming an Em chord was a nightmare for me. I'm a student. I'll never be a master. I learn something new everyday.
But I've heard and seen some students say that even the simple parts of the etudes are too challenging and discouraging for them. And I don't want anyone to feel like that. I'm working on some things for the school, but I was curious of any beginners would be interested in me adding "beginner etudes" to it? Things that are a little more broken down and simple. Would anyone be interested in that or find use of it? I want to see what students would say before I asked Syn.

That'd be pretty cool!Maybe some etudes that really focus on things like vibrato and bending could be useful.
agree on this!Maybe some etudes that really focus on things like vibrato and bending could be useful.
Yes it's definitely being covered!Hell yeah beginner etudes would be cool! How about some that arent lead-guitar based, but rhythm guitar based? Like taking the lower octave of a scale and coming up with an etude for galloping, palm muting, straight up chugging, and legato in riffs? Ive seen people say lately that their rhythm speed/technique/feel/etc Needs work, so maybe that’d help some people? After all, shredding isnt all about lead playing, give some love to the rhythm side of shredding*cue holy wars by megadeth*
Awesome! You and the team are the best Jak!Yes it's definitely being covered!
