eh, they are ok. I dont like them. If you’re looking metal core, you want Eighteen Visions, Stick to your Guns, Id say Escape the Fate but they are too busy trying to be like pop bands right now. Makes me cringe.
I’m looking for more metalcore bands, like early A7X related. I’m just very very picky with what I listen to. for example, I can’t stand asking alexandria. They are just as annoying live as on cd lol. Not sure what it is I hate about them.

@calvin, check out Conquer/Divide. Drummer kicks ass and the songwriting is phenomenal. Not as strong in the guitar department, but the songs are there.

Wage War, Oceans Ate Alaska, and Make Them Suffer are three really good metalcore bands while we’re on the topic. And the drummer for OAA is legit probably the best drummer I’ve ever heard. Check out his playthrough video on YouTube of Escapist. Man’s a beast.

Always thought BvB had a bit of A7x influence in them. They get a crap ton of hate for dressing the way they do. But they’re very talented guys.

I like some of their stuff but I do kinda feel like they kinda release the same recoRd everytime(and not on an Ac/DC Iron Maiden level) so that kinda started to bore me a little bit. They do have some great songs though!

I just like seeing all of their influences in their music. I hear Metallica, a7x, slipknot, and a ton of other bands every time I listen to them.

Black Veil Brides is ok, their singer Andy has a damn good voice
@calvin you might know them, they toured with Avenged, but I’d recommend you Bullet For My Valentine if you’re into metalcore

They are good minus the singer, i hope i dont offend any1 is just it sounds like he only has half an octave of range he only has a deep voice not very versatile singer.

Andrew, absolutely agreed. They would be a decent mainstream rock band if it wasn’t for the singer. Idk, that band just isn’t for me… They are like a transitional band young teenage kids listen to while founding out bands and then later move on to something a bit more mature and refined.
