Finding a Band

Hey everyone,
I’ll keep it short and get straight to the point: Ive been doing a lot of music writing lately and it really feels like I’m on to something special. The problem is, it’s just me. I can’t seem to find a group that’s as dedicated to music as me. All my music friends preach how they would do anything for a music career, but when I ask them to put it all on the line they back out. To be honest, that’s totally the reasonable thing to do, and I don’t fault them for it. But I’m willing to risk it all. How do I find the right people to do the same?

I kinda have the same issue. I have two friends in my town that want to be in a band, but they don’t want to risk anything, meanwhile I really don’t care because I’ve already made up my mind. Luckily I’ve found a person that shares the same vision as me, but the problem is that me and that person live on different fucking continents lol. Me and him just need to get together and everything will fall into place eventually.
So best of luck with finding somebody. Don’t try to search for that somebody, because it won’t happen. It has to happen spontaneously and there has to be a chemistry between you and them.

Finding people can be difficult. I have always struggled to find people to play with that are dedicated. I think all you can do is put yourself in situations where you are likely to meet like minded people. Meet people at local gigs or put out adverts on band pages seeking musicians although can be lengthy. Other than than just cross your fingers lol

Findig people can be difficult especially drummers. You could try to use social media.
