Maybe it wasnt enough paper to hold the bridge in place, that sucks...if you try next time see if it works with a credit card, or theres a company that makes a plastic thing that holds the bridge in place you can find it on amazon im sure but I cant remember the name right now
Dont be affraid to try and do it yourself next time is trial and error like everything, first time that I tried to do something with it my bridge was literally inside the guitar body
it took me maybe an hour to get everything in place again and in tuning, so I just watch a few more tuturial videos on youtube and worked it out never had problems again when I need to change strings or even change tunings! Im not an expert anyway maybe Ive just been lucky!
