Guys, i hv an electric guitar, and there's a gap between the fretboard and neck as I've shown below. It's really hindering with the notes, and fking up the feel of the notes, some places action suddenly feels high, low, etc. What to do?
Also, why are some strings louder than others? Like i had all 5 except high E from 1 brand, and the E was significantly "quiter" less resonance i guess?

If the fretboard really is separating from the neck, the next step depends on how much money you have and how much the guitar is worth.

If both are on the low side, you need a few clamps, some wood glue, a steady hand and patience.

If the guitar was pricey, take it to a shop for an estimate.

Yeah, the strings have to come off. Maybe you can save them, since they're new.
