So, I pick new songs to play by writing song titles on a paper and putting them in a box and picking a random one out of them. Now, I want to put syn’s pentatonic etudes in there(yes all of Syn’s etudes are also in there) but since the slightly autistic part of my personality can’t handle the fact that when writing the 10 pentatonic etudes on a paper the paper isn’t full and I’d like to be put a little bit out of my comfort zone as far as my playing is concerned I’m asking you some songs I can write down on the empty spaces. Cool blues/jazz/fusion is really appreciated but in the general sense I don’t really care so much what genre it is. Whether there are tabs available doesn’t matter!
Thanks guys!
Note: I learn songs as a way to see how certain stuff is applied and try to study the harmony and stuff like that too(even though I’m lazy and don’t always do this) but also just for shits and giggle to have some fun.

I had to think a bit before I could remember something I like in the “cool blues/jazz/fusion” category that would be a good recommendation. Luckily, I was able to find something really cool: Joe Satriani- If I Could Fly. The first half of the song features what I consider to be one of the best melodies of all time. The last half of the song is a great blues-flavored solo that isn’t crazy shreddy.
