Hello guys! Does anyone know a good source to learn guitar theory? (That includes mastering the chords, modes and how to apply them).
Thank you in advance.
I highly suggest starting at lesson 1. Even though you know how to hold the guitar. Or the pick. Even if you know your c a g e or d chords. Sometimes during a lesson pg just says something half related to the lesson that just is magic. And you go wow.. i didn't even see that the first time through.
All the things you mention are right here, I think the basic theory on scales and how chords are built is here. I'm not entirely sure harmony is here because I've seen it mentioned in the Syn's tips part a couple time but don't know whether it's really covered anywhere.
If you have any questions you can always just ask because there are some theory geeks active here
You'll likely find what you're looking for right here! If you need info that isn't in a lesson, the forum is a great resource As an addition to both of those, Rick Beato on YouTube is great too! Look up his video called 'The Basics of Music Theory' with a notepad and pen at the ready
