Hardtail Syn Signature?

So I just joined this forum, I’ve been getting into a lot of A7X lately, I never really appreciated how good their songs were until recently, I always liked them though!
Anyway — I saw some vids on YouTube of Syn playing a hardtail version of his Schecter signature model — can lowly mortals like me purchase this guitar somehow (hopefully without a custom order from the US Schecter custom shop :|) ?
I suppose another thing I could do is order a regular one and get an EverTune installed, I already have an EverTune guitar though. It’s great and I love it, but you kind of have to lock it into a single tuning and keep it there. Takes a bit of time to adjust it to other tunings.

I think I know which model youre talking about but no, you cant purchase one. All syn electric model are mounted with floyd rose. What you are asking about is a prototype that was never release to the public. like, ever. I saw one on reverb last year maybe so some prototype might surface from time to time but its not common

Yeah I agree! But yeah I saw the guitar you were talking about. Schecter probably made it specially for him. One day maybe we’ll see some of them released to the public. Id love a non floyd rose guitar with a sustainiac

Radu is right. BUUUT with the right luthier or a hell of a lot of guts, I’ve heard of people “blocking off the tremolo” which basically makes it a hard tail. There are some people that do conversions Here is a good article that Sweetwater has about how to do this technique properly. Although it’s not the actual guitar, if it’s the effect of a hardtail you want this could be helpful…
