Okay, first off I decided that Bluetooth was impossible to work with for speakers so I bought actual computer speakers that plug into the aux input on my laptop. Now the problem is Reaper doesn’t even recognize the speakers in the input/output list under devices. I pulled up ASIO configuration and blackweb stereo came up (blackweb is the name of the speakers) so I enabled those but they still don’t show up on the actual “devices” page in reaper with all the outputs and inputs. I still have it set to ASIO. When I pull up the drum vst it shows a signal but I can’t get it to play audio SOO we’re just gonna actually record sn acoustic drum set. I’m tired of messing with all of this thanks everyone lol

You need to connect the speakers to your interface and select your audio interface as both input and output in reaper. You should be able to connect them at the back of your interface and each speaker should go into each output (one goes in 1(L) and the other in 2(R). If your speakers both together have only 1 3,5mm cable then you should get a 3,5 to 6,3 adapter (https://images.musicstore.de/images/0960/sennheiser-adapter-3-5mm-6-3mm-jack-for-hd-25_1_REC0008015-000.jpg) and then plug that into the headphone output and you should be able to hear everything

Well the speakers I bought only have an Aux rack and I don’t think they can plug into my interface. Plus my interface doesn’t have a usb plug in so I have no way to hook my USB/ MIDI adapter to it. My drummer just bought his first acoustic drum set so I think we are gonna try and take it to my buddy’s gfs house who has a studio in her basement and just try and mic it. I think we have like 3 mics all together which I know isn’t nearly enough but we’re just gonna try and do that next week. Any tips for doing that?
