The first time I was blown away by this technique was while listening to The Stage. How often do you use tapping or even double hand tappings in your solos? And how to do construct them? I need some suggestions
I’m not much of a tapper myself but usually when I tap I kinda go with notes from a triad. Also The Stage is probably the only song with tapping I know and a very tiny bit of eruption.
As Ids said, I often construct tapping licks from arpeggios and chord progressions. Though saying that I might tap a 7th or a 9th if I’m feeling brave enough. I also add taps to my arpeggios to continue the sequence and cant help but do some tap sliding too
