I was kinda messing about with a chord progression and played a Dadd11 without the fifth and then I went and studied what arrpegios you can do over them and it seems like when you play major add chords you always have (at leadt) 2 type of arrpegios you can play over them. In this case a Dmaj11 arpeggio and a D11 arpeggio. In my head both work over the Dadd11. For add9 arrpegios the same applies but with major9 and dominant 9 and same with add13(which is effectively a major 6 chord).
