Is this a legit Schecter signature guitar?

I’ve really been questioning if this guitar is authentic or some cheap clone.

DEFINITELY fake. Best option is someone used a normal schecter c-1 and modded the hell out of it but still, I do not in any way shape or form recommend buying it

Wasn’t planning on buying the guitar. But I did think the guitar looked real enough to fool a lot of people.

Nothing about that would make it worth 8 grand, even if it were real. Signatures don’t add that much value, especially when the artist is alive, and it’s a lower-end guitar. Even if is a one-off made for ZV and never used, it wouldn’t be worth more than MAYBE $2,000 tops, to a superfan.

I thought it was zacky v guitar but just with the pinstripe modification, i dont think the guitar is fake.

I don’t think a Zacky guitar with the pinstripes actually exist. That also means I wouldn’t trust it.

The signature looks pretty perfect and like its done with a sharpie. I would honestly just call schecter and see if they know anything about it, if it matters that much to you.

Hey guys, actually on the schecter guitar forum on facebook, the president of schecter CONFIRMED that it was real. It is well known that he goes there and i myself interracted with him on many times. This is a legit schecter guitar, its not fake. Its one of a kind and while its value is questionnable, its legit.

Still a Diamond series. Not BAD guitars, by any means, but not anywhere close to 8Gs, no matter how specialer it is.

Oh I dont disagree with you at all Ed. Im just commenting on the fact that its real and legit. Also there is a Johnny christ Bass version of it too but no picture of it. Just mentionned by the president! I found the post and took a screenshot for authenticity. The group on facebook is managed by schecter. I highly doubt they would let someone pretend to be their president so yeah this guitar is, while overpriced, a legit schecter signed by zacky V

Bro someone tell Schecter they need to be more careful cause that is one SHADY ASS GUITAR. They used completely different tone/volume knobs, the fretboard decal looks fake, the pickup guards are the same as some I’ve seen around ebay for super cheap as well qnd the entire idea of the design (copying syn’s design) doesn’t sound plausible at all. If the president himself said it’s real I won’t doubt it but by god does it look fake as hell.

@rod Azeite yeah well it seem it was more like a joke and that it simply was never meant to be sold to the general public. The pickup guards are the same as the one used on the zacky vengeance 6661. Anyway, schecter experiments a lot. Ive seen a synyster custom with 8 string and I totally tought it was fake. Turns out it was a prototype. Legit schecter Syn. They make a lot of prototype with odd color pattern and if they are sold on drum city guitar land, then they are legit
