Jazz guitar artist or Jazz artist

Hello i’m here again to only ask wich guitar artist or only Jazz artist you want to recomend me, i have my college exam in two weeks and i need to know a couple of songs to pass i dont know any so help again pls

Achim Kohl hands down! I absolutely LOVE that guy!
Alex Skolnick is a metal player that is really well-versed with jazz as well. Then of course Papa Gates and Rick Beato. And there’s the infamous Django Reinhardt. Wes Montgomery and George Benson are awesome too!

And Autumn Leaves is a jazz classic. Try that one

There are seriously so many great jazz players. As far as gypsy jazz is concerned try Django Reinhardt, Stochelo Rosenberg, Jimmy Rosenberg and Robin Nolan. Regular jazz I would say Pat Metheny, Wes Montgomery and Birelli Lagrene(he does regular jazz as well as Gypsy jazz). If you want to venture in to fusion too try Guthrie govan, Steve Gambale and Allan Holdsworth.
Personally I’m mostly a big fan of the gypsy jazz stuff! With fusion and regular jazz I’m kinda picky since a lot of people seem to do like diddly diddly diddly fast stuff all the time where it’s hard to hear a melody(at least for me).

I just remembered that I bought this cd a while ago. It’s really great and filled with jazz greats!
