That tele is awesome!! I never thought that page used to play a tele.
And I was kind of surprised by the whole story.
Apparently Jeff Beck gave Page this telecaster when the yardbirds were still a thing.
Jimmy then took all the paint out of the body and painted a dragon + fire on it.
And that is when it was kind of created.
Now comes the surprising part…
When page was out on a tour, a friend of him decided to, as a gift, paint his telecaster to look like new.
And in the end of the day, the paint was trash and jimmy did not like it.
Also the sound of the guitar was different after que paint job.
