So I was playing a sweep and I noticed that it sounded so bad compared to what I wanted to play more on that song later. So anyways I always thought that my sweeping was really good but today I figured out its not that great haha, so I want to ask you guys how do you mute the strings when sweeping I know you’re supposed to put your right hand near the bridge but it seems to be not working. Maybe I’m not doing it correctly? So let me know.
Thanks 🙂
I’m so sick of this atup correct on the site ugh, I just noticed it auto corrected auto haha.

I needed to really think about this one!
When I ascend on any shape across the fret board, my right palm immediately mutes the strings naturally. When I descend its a different muting technique for me. I actually use the left hand to mute previous strings in a sweeping pattern. I might be able to show this explanation in a video
