Natural Born Killer riff sounds like......

Ok. I might be crazy. Probably am. But the main riff in Natural Born Killer is bugging me because it sounds really similar to another riff that's NOT done by A7X. It's the main riff that comes in at around 27 seconds after the "ding". Anyone know what riff it sounds like? Or my ears just might be playing tricks on me.

I'd never noticed it before, but I picked up the guitar to play the riff, and instantly heard the Petty song when I did it. "Huh! How bout that?"

There are many songs that share the same melodies or riffs all over the place. I always find random songs that share things with others. Doesn't mean they were stolen or anything tho. Only so many to go around. Like the whole metallica thing

I just heard Last Dance with Mary Jane, heard it a few times when I was younger but didn't know who it was. I like it, kind of reminds me of RHCP
