I just began trying to learn guitar about a month ago and I wasn’t sure I really wanted to go through with it. I just learned how to play Unholy Confessions and it sparked a passion in me for playing guitar. Just need help picking faster and more accurately.
In general picking fast is not really developed in a months. It will probably take about a year to get it. Just continue practicing and bump up the BPMS when you feel comfortable with the speed you are playing it now. Do you have a video of you playing Unholy Confessions, I would love to see it!
Unholy Confessions riff was the first thing I learned to play on guitar and I played it SUPER SLOW because I couldn’t play it faster. Just keep practicing and eventually your speed will increase. Just DON’T RUSH because you will sound sloppy. It takes time to be able to play faster.
The best way to pick fast and accurate is to slow the tempo right down. Play along to a metronome at a snail’s pace, and as you get used to the pace, increase the tempo on the metronome.
