Okay guys and dolls, it’s been a few months since we had one of these and because I’m always spending time on things I’d rather be doing instead of things I should be doing (ie. pile of laundry still sits in the corner but MAAAAAN my jazz jam was super this afternoon) I’m feeling motivated to get everyone on the band wagon to do this one!
I posted up another improvement video a few days back and got some really nice feedback on it. Buuuuut ONE thing I’ve mentioned before is that students will post up a riff/lick/solo/jam and then it disappears and we never see it again. We can’t really gauge our improvements if we don’t have something to base it off of. And because I did the “Student Testimonial” video, I wanted to showcase WHY those testimonials are true!! I’m also hoping this may help people with their issues with motivation and stuff lately. I have been noticing improvements in so many people so I’d like to make this an official thing! Sometimes we feel like we’re not improving until we see our hindsight and say, “Damn, I HAVE gotten better!” I want everyone to feel the same way I felt when I played back my original solo and thought, “Wow!” So come on! Let’s show the world how much ass we kick and all our hard work!
