note bleeds when sweeping

Recently as some of you may be aware I have started to sweep more and I decided to take on the pre-solo section to the stage, there are some sweep shapes that I am comfortable with but I can’t seem to wrap my head around sweeps where the same fret is played one string after another, the notes seem to bleed into each other and it doesn’t sound clean.
Does anyone have any tips?

The way to sweep any shape besides the C shape is rolling. This can be tricky but it is the way to go when there are two notes after each other on the same fret but played on different strings and you want to play them fast.
