Nylon string hammer ons

Anyone have tips on playing Hammer ons on a nylon string guitar? I'm working on the intro to Roundabout. I can pull it off pretty well on the D string, but on the G string the note dies so quickly. Do I just gotta get faster?

I tell you what though, when you do get your hammer on/pull offs working good on an acoustic (nylon or steel); they're easy peasy on the electric

I've noticed that. I did the lesson on hammerons/pulloffs and was like. Oh. I'll get this easy. Then moved onto my acoustic and I was like. Damn. Lol
