Does anyone know of any bands that Pope Gates participated in?
I saw a video of a song of his, and the solo was very similar to that of Synyster Gates. I also saw that a7x’s many songs have his participation.
I saw his class here playing very good riff. (with only 4 notes)

I don’t know of any traditional “bands” he’s been in. I know he did a lot of studio and session work in The Olden Times, even with Frank Zappa. 90s and 00s kids would know him as “Guitar Guy,” a guitar playing comedian who toured extensively with ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. He is currently out on a comedy tour called “The Deplorables,” and our own Jak Angelescu went and saw that show this past week and met him for pictures and laughs and stuff afterwards.
