I'm not sure he wrote the best songs, some of George's and John's are among my favorites too

I'm not too sure they are allowed to. There may be a contract thing there. I dont know the details. I believe they tried him as a 5th member and it didnt work so they tossed him? I dunno how he left the band after Vince joined. But if his names in the credits I'd get why they dont play them. Vince hated that material anyways so he probably doesnt want to sing those songs too.

POWER TO THE MUSIC.

Surely their wouldn't be a contract clause stating they couldn't praise Corabi, that would be weird? Vince couldn't sing any of the Corabi stuff anyway. He was probably kicked out of Motley after the nostalgia train hit, everyone seemed to want Vince, and didn't like the self-titled because it was alternative, weird.

Yeah fans were pretty against the album. I actually think there are 2 with him. But j could be wrong. The self entitled I listened to and its heavy as fuck. Kicks guitar tone really drives the album with the drums. And the vocals really make it sound more grunge but honestly.. it just is a heavier motley crue tone to me. I can see the similarities though.

I'm thinking more royalties everytime the song is played you know what I mean?

Yep, that's probably it, plus, it didn't sell as well as the other albums, but still better than any of the recent Motley albums. The self-titled is the best Motley album, in my opinion. Its great that we've turned the McCartney forum into a Motley forum! Yep, the album has a great tone.
