Hey guys, I have recently found a little trick in the pentatonic and how it is played that allows for you to create new colours in your playing as well as having a new way to transition between positions
Ascend/desend the scale in reverse!
This sounds strange but what it is is essentially playing the notes on each string the opposite way to which you normally would, instead of playing 5,7 5,7 ascending, play 7,5 7,5 ascending It sounds confusing and I myself getting to grips with its aplications but just running the scale give a new vibe. I will upload a video later on
