How's it going family?

Hope you are doing well in midst of this madness. I just wanted to ask all of you a favour. Please, please PLEASE: Record yourselfves playing.
Today I learn an old song I used to play on guitar again, and remebered that I made like a goofy video playing the song.....Looked that video up and instantly knew how much better I have become over the year and a half period....like dramatically good. In the video I thought I was Billy Badass...and playing that song now makes me feel so much better about my playing. My improvement was evident. Better technique, nailing the song better, etc. It was a huge boost to my guitar confidence. So please everybody record yourself, forget about the recording for a year and look at yourself. Amaze yourself with your growth!

Awesome! People need to hear this again and again! Recording yourself is so valuable for learning from your mistakes but also to gain confidence when you rewatch it! Have a look at this:

If I can do it, everybody can, and should!
Why not make this an official thread for these progress videos? Came to think I might have some other old videos I could rerecord.

I remember an old improv video I once made, I cringed so hard when I watched it back.
I know I'll do that again in a year. I'll never show my face in those vids but it's fun, and helpful, to look back.
