Not sure about tapping besides Eruption but Tremolo Picking Nightmare or Buried Alive, String Skipping is really just finding a Paul Gilbert song with arpeggios(Fuzz universe, Olympic or Scarified), legato is used in the Higher solo and the coming home solo I believe.

Why don’t you write one? I think that would be awesome! If you are trying to practice those techniques, I think the best type of practice would be composing with them and fine tuning your work. I think it would be best for you if you really want to learn a song, is to look into Yngwie Malmsteen stuff or maybe even Testament solos with Alex skolnick. These two players are extremely technical players that have really Advanced chops and technique. And they usually try to shove as many techniques into one so low as they can. I will listen to some songs today and see if I can pick one out for you

I agree with jak. She said exactly what I was thinkin.
I’ll admit.. if you do a cover I might watch it. If you do originality I will not hesitate to watch the video. Originality beats covers anyday. Anyone can play a solo already written. I’d love to hear what YOU can come up. And you’re writing will never get better unless you start writing yourself.
So if you feel you arent good enough to write your own stuff. You arent writing enough. So just do it. No one here will criticize you. They will just give you tips to Improve your playing.
