Question about my new guitar

Bought a Schecter Omen 6, I love it to death there’s not a problem with it except every once in a while when Im switching between pickups (just the neck and bridge) it will change the tone coming out of the amp in a bad way…like if I have distortion on when I switch from the bridge to the neck the distortion will completely go away and everything gets quieter. Maybe there is a loose wire inside the pickup idk. Anybody have this problem before?

go to the computer store.. and buy a can of air spray. Then when you switch pick ups.. spray into the area of the switch. I had this issue a while back and this helps clear any dust and whatnot in the area. Chances are you have a loose connection somewhere, but a lot of times its literally dust or air in the way. Can costs like 10 dollars. If that doesn’t work then yeah its probably a wire issue.
