Hi mate, sorry for the bother. Rammstein is a hugely influential band for me personally and the reason I enjoy playing rhythm guitar so much. I have gone through hundreds of forums, gear lists. Interviews you name it I have been to hell and back and as a result I am pretty confident I know Richards sound.
Luckily for you and I, the ‘92 recto is very close to the amps that he uses. He uses the famous pre 500 mesas (rev c-d) and those are 1992 models. I did not mess around with microphones and celestions as I am not great with mic placement and don’t have the celestion pack but I tweaked the living crap out of it and Its almost a spot on rosenrot tone(through my speakers).

Sorry again for messing you about but you must know that this tone is almost impossible to get and it is only after sitting down for nearly a week straight I was able to get close.
