Recommendations for making videos for the site

Ok. I’d love to begin uploading riffs to the site, but I have no clue how to upload videos. I know how to put videos on youtube, but I’d like for the videos to have good audio quality. I don’t want to just use my phone to record me playing. How do I use a microphone (like the Tascam DR 05 I have) to record my audio in tandem with video? Or am I just going about this completely wrong? Sorry for the dumb question, guys, but I have no clue how this works. Thanks!

I think that your phone (depending on what you have) is completely fine. As long as people hear what you are playing then that’s fine. I only use my phone. Especially if you are only uploading for the interest of getting feedback to learn.
