Rock on the Range

So in the spirit of us becoming more of a community, I would like to make a suggestion and mention what I’ll be doing for Rock on the Range this year. I hope to hear from others who will be in attendance and I would be open to any ideas on the topic as well.
In my mind I was thinking just how vast and large our community has become, and how during the weekends event I could cross paths with other students just like myself. This spawned an idea of maybe creating a name badge to put in my ticket holder so that other students could see that we are fellow students and what my name is, all in hopes that we could meet through tour the weekend.
To me I’m honored to be a part of this group and I’m so proud that we can share our similar interests in an environment such as this. Closer to the event I’ll try to post a picture of the badge or if anyone has a better idea I’d love to hear it but I’d really like to see and meet any or all of you who will be in attendance.
If there is interest I’d even be open to doing breakfast somewhere or meeting up at some point as a group, it could be anything or it could be pipe dreams, we all get out of this what we put into it so I’m making an attempt to benefit the community.

I won’t be going to rock in the range(I’m not from the us) but I’m thinking about going to Download madrid for 1 day and chill in Madrid for 2-3 days

My daughter called me last night all excited about the lineup for this show and how we should go, and I had to tell her it was a one-time festival show and it’s 2,000 miles away from home. “There may come a day when we can afford to fly across the country to go to a concert, but that day won’t be in 2018, hon.”

Fantastic idea! I won’t be attending, however, we should apply this idea to all A7X shows! That is one place where I would hope that we could always find fellow students! What could we do to make it easier to connect at shows? Should we make a separate thread for it? Do we create a group on a social media account for us all to be added to? Let’s brainstorm and see what we can come up with!
Imagine the possibilities from actually meeting each other and talking about music, possibly even connecting and writing/recording/performing together? The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!
We better get some help from Jak for this!
