I don’t understand the videos that were copyrighted, all the ad revenue was going to the copyright owner. I’ve made a lot of money for the labels. Minimum 500$ and up. So now I can’t monetise my own content, and the funny thing is there are still ads on the videos going to the labels. I mostly do this as a hobby and now have lost a lot of youtube features. I fear the worst for my youtube channel. :'(
Literally, everyone, I meet I tell them about my youtube channel I am so proud of my accomplishment. I need to start praying now.

yeah dude well youtube is in the middle of a shitshow right now. Literally, there is the creator side and the big company side and there is this whole thing with copyrights. Basically, youtube cannot control every single video and check if there is copyright enfrigment or not and all that. My theory for your channel is that they simply saw that the majority of your content is copyrighted by another party and therefore its easier for them to avoid anything claims if they just automatically enable monetization.
Im really sorry for you and your channel though. I know its a lot of work in there and I truly think it sucks. I hope youtube gets back on tracks because these sort of thing is happening to creator everywhere and its all because companies are abusing the system

This is me being a 100% honest I know its cliche but I started youtube as a hobby originally. My plan was to gain subscribers and then post my covers when I had a lot of subs. I didn’t really think about the money aspect of things, only when I got kinda huge. I guess now I can just hope one of my covers gets a lot of views just to make me feel happy about it.
