Heyy ,
Learn your modes and extended scales , it really helps to get used to playing gypsy jazz . Also practise sweep picking cause it really comes in handy.
From personal experience I’ve found playing more gypsy jazz songs and learning more of them helps a lot more than practising scales tbh tho that’s just something that has worked for me so if u find scales is the way to go for you , do so. Btw learn ” for Sephora ” , ” minor swing ” and ” Joseph jospeh ” . Those are the ones I’ve learnt 🙈
Good luck mate

Let’s see the first one is Harmonic minor, you can get away with playing harmonic minor the whole time over minor swing even though adding some other stuff really helps keeping it interesting. Than you have melodic Minor, Double harmonic major, super locrian mode (effectively the 7the mode of the melodic Minor scale), diminished, Blues scale can also work, hungarian minor is also one that works!
