    No, not at all. Put your rough budget in here and what kinds of things you look for in a guitar and I’ll see if I can find you a few options you can look at. Top quality costs top dollar, but there are plenty of solid, budget-minded guitars out there with Floyds that you can yank on like Vai and they stay in tune.

    There are a lot of different sites you can search for new or used. New, Ibanez makes a LOT of mid-line shred machines with Floyds in your price range. Avoid the Gio and sub-$500US range and you’re in pretty solid shape.
    If you look around and find something interesting besides what I’ve shown you here, me and several others would be happy to offer an educated opinion, if you like.
