If we’re talking about stuff that we want to buy, I’ll just say what I want on vinyl because CD’s would take too long:
Darkthrone
Emperor
Mayhem
Burzum
Immortal
Satyricon
Bathory
Enslaved
Venom
Ulver
Behemoth
Celtic Frost
Hellhammer
Dissection
Watain
Beherit
It’s mostly black metal stuff, because that’s my favorite genre, and to own vinyls from it is a thing in that genre haha. They’re very high value because of their history in the underground in the late 80’s and early 90’s.

Ed, I agree that digital music is the future, but there are a lot of old underground releases missing from digital music services. I’m discovering less-known bands deeper and deeper every day, and some of them have a limited number of copies on vinyl, let alone a whole discography on Spotify or something.

Ofcause, digital music is the future. But I have reasons why I buy albums.
1. If I stream music I tend to listen to music less conscious. I like to “feel” that it’s an album, a whole piece of art, I am listening to.
2. I like to support the artist and the local stores.
3. I appreciate the art of the cover and the lyric booklet. For example the Baroness albums are very special because the singer designs the whole thing.
4. I like it to have something in my hands that I can collect.
Maybe there are more reasons for me that don’t come to my mind right now.
