Solos with easy sweeps?

I just had my go at sweeping and wondered if any of you have any suggestions for solos with easy sweep segments in it?

Well, I started with CAGED chord arpeggios.

You can first try Zacky's part in the buried Alive solo and if you feel comfortable with those try Syn's parts. The bat country solo is also a good one, that little interlude in the middle of the solo is the part that helped me with my sweeping a lot. Maybe danger line has some good ones too but I think those are a little stretchy.

So glad to see you improving and moving along! While I don't have any suggestions for solos with simple sweeps, the etude section one for sweeping may be a little bit difficult for somebody who is just starting. Sweeping the arpeggios in the caged lessons is definitely a good place to start. But if I were you, what I did is I practiced doing those arpeggios as in the last 3 notes and sweep those instead and do little hammer ons and pull offs. It's just simplified. Also do the arpeggios alternate picking as well and don't just sweep them because it gets a much different effect and sounds super cool and is used quite often on shreddy guitar!

Syn's Etudes is my recomendation.

I second what @Ids Schiere said, zacky’s part in buried alive, and Syn’s (which is hard but not terrible once broken down) and bat country. Bat country’s solo Is the first solo i ever heard sweep picking in (i was in like 3rd or 4th grade when i first heard it)

Ill add another, however whether its sweeped or alt picked is a big debate, syn’s part in the beast and the harlot chorus. Its at a good tempo, and honesty fairly simple to play.
