JOIN THE DISCORD VIEW THREADWe have been repeatedly getting issues with a Spammer that has a similar name that they keep using. The address is coming from China and I have banned several Users with this similar name and have eradicated all of their content yet they keep forming new similar screen names and spamming the riffs and the forums. I will be taking this matter directly to Syn and Patrick and Mike to see if we can get this fixed once and for all.
Even though the IP address may locate as China, there are several methods to change your IP address to mask away the real location. Similar to those annoying telemarketers asking about your car insurance. This bot is posting in Korean trying to advertise for BTS. (BTS is actually not my favorite KPOP group)
Just did this, thanks for the heads up!EDIT PLEASE READ THIS
A student just came to me and said someone tried to hack onto her account.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW...
Go to your profile and click on 'password and security". Click "enable two-step verification" and follow the prompts.
Mike has been emailed and Syn is aware of the issue. We're taking care of it asap
It works for my University though. They jus block Ip addresses from certain countries and the only way they can get in is by sending phishing emails to university emails and some dumbass clicks the picture. Gmail has a pretty good spam filter tooEven though the IP address may locate as China, there are several methods to change your IP address to mask away the real location.
