I bought a synyster gates custom s guitar 2 years ago and everytime i switch the pickup selector to rhythym or middle position, the guitar screams like crazy nonstop. Seymour duncan havent replied to my emails and idk what to do. Any ideas how i could fix it?
Sounds like the sustanianc is turning on when you turn the pick up or maybe you always have it on and dont realize it. I’d imagine the feedback is more apparent in the bridge pick up zo the squeal would happen faster.
I have the Sustaniac turned off. It still does it when in neck or middle, but not bridge position. I took out the battery and ofc no squeal since the sustaniac has no power source.
I tried taking my guitar outside of my room facing the other direction but if you move even just a little, it screams. I dont know if its something wrong with the sustaniac itself, or if its supposed to be leaning a certain way. Or not touching something. But i dont wanna take it apart cuz i dont know what im doing
Hey man.
Try this, it’s the official sustainiac troubleshooting sheet. Seymor duncan might not even try to reply.

Hope that you find the problem.

I seem to have volume drops when switching, when i go from bridge to sustainiac or vis versa there is almost no output. This only happens on occasion but its still an issue.
