Syns confederate flag guitar

Do you still play it at shows Syn? Just was curious. For others who may read this I’m not here to create a debate about the flag, I just was curious about him still playing it.

I don’t play it nor do I own it anymore. Honestly, I wanted one because of my hero Dimebag but now that I’ve seen the overwhelming effect that it has on people, I can’t be a party to it. I’m not saying that all people that still support the confederate flag support the negative connotations. I just have no excuse being a kid from So-Cal witnessing all the people it offends representing any part of it right, wrong, or indifferent.

Right. I always thought the guitar looked cool,(I’m not saying I support the flags connotations) but in this day and age I guess it is always best to play it safe and just not go there with the whole thing.

Even Phil apologized for using the confederate flag in Pantera stuff. I think their usage (and yours as well, Syn) was well-intentioned, as someone who also has certain flags in their own country that represent patriotism but also have negative aspects as well, I can definitely understand all of it.

I'm curious about the German Flag guitar, honestly. I remember seeing it in the TRL performance of Bat Country, and a couple other times in pictures and that was it. Would definitely be a neat one to hold on to.
