    That’s accurate. There are actually pics of him on google wearing a gi, which is strange to see since he’s always so trendy ha. But yeah Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and martial arts in general can put a lot of strain on your fingers from gripping lapels or hitting pads, my guess is that he stopped because his career depends on it. Those hands are his money makers, 2nd only to his ears.

    I’ll take on Synyster Gates! I know how to do the guillotine and triangle choke I may only last five seconds but I’d go down trying! I did boxing for a year and Taekwondo for 3 years when I was a teenager. Anyone else ever do any martial arts?

    Yeah, I competed a little in Tae Kwon Do as a kid, did some karate as a teenager, and more recently practiced krav maga for a couple years. I’m also about to move to Lafayette, LA and am going to be training at Gladiator Academy which is where #3 ranked lightweight Dustin Poirier started and still trains with from time to time. I actually randomly met him last time I was there at a local MMA event.
