Okay, I will admit, next time I do this I’m going to beg everyone to PLEASE read the directions in their entirety before submitting their takes because I asked specifically for the videos/links to be emailed to me and I’m chasing over 4 different media platforms with people sending me their links in numerous different ways. I have had students writing me saying that they got upset because I didn’t include them in the last two projects and I dug through my mail inbox and never found their submissions. Turns out, they messaged them to me on Instagram which got washed down the drain with a bunch of other stuff.
So next time we do this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE email me the links to your takes so I can be SURE to get them from you! I want everyone to be included in these things
Also with directions, I can only take 1 minute long submissions to make sure I have enough time for everyone to be included. So if I ask for something to be “no more than one minute long”, please do not send me a 10 minute video of you jamming or a 5 minute song because it will be up to my judgement to edit things out, and I really don’t want to edit out something you may have wanted. This is YOUR video, after all!
Last and final thing…
I also got several different students messaging me asking me about the details to this specific project. I can’t keep responding and rewriting the same things i post on the school forum. Numerous people got angry that they weren’t apart of the last two projects because they “didn’t know it was going on.”
I post up about them on my Instagram page, numerous times here, and I on my Facebook pages where several of you are wonderful friends of mine. I can’t reach out to you specifically and let you know when things like this happen. So if you miss the opportunity, please don’t get upset with me.
So check for your name down below. If you submitted and you DON’T see your name, please let me know ASAP!!!
