Anyone here familiar with the Mars Volta? Personally I really like them. I also found this jam with Omar Rodriguez Lopez, Flea and John Frusciante and it is awesome!
Man, I do think that The Mars Volta is a band that people either love or hate, there is no mid term.
I personally love The Mars Volta. They sound amazing!!!
Their first album De Loused in the Comatorium is a masterpiece ( Frusciante and Flea have played in this album) – a must-hear. Not to mention their following albums, that become even crazier.
It is awesome that you like them as well.

I think Flea and John are really good friends with Omar Rodriguez Lopez. They even made some albums together and John plays on multiple The Mars Volta records. I even found them via John Frusciante
