Timing issues

I am recording my Deutschland cover but I just cant seem to hit any of the notes on cue, It always seems like Its late or early and I cant get around it because I just cant seem to time it. Any advice as I prefer to do it in one take and Its making it almost impossible. I want to avoid cutting and sliding the parts around to get them perfect but I just cant seem to get the desired results from playing. I pretty much play it 24/7 but still nothing.

What instrument exactly are you talking about? I can only imagine how many things are actually put into that kind of a song. Are you talking about the little lead thing that’s done with a synth that you’re trying to do as a guitar part? Are you talking about the rhythm guitar? The vocals?

The lead guitar, the rhythm I am okay with, its mainly the case of finding when in the riff it starts and also working on my reactions.

Will do, at the minute Im playing it in drop d but the rhythm is transposed. The lead however cant be so it may be around saturday that its up as i have repairs to do on my Jackson (fell off my wall and the pickup selector switch broke)
