How’s it mate ?
I don’t really know how to dial the A7x tone to be completely honest with you.
What I can say to you is that Syn uses fractal nowadays. And I THINK that he have used Marshall and Bogner in the past.
You can take it from there haha.
Now, Pink Floyd!
There is a website called http://www.gilmourish.com
Which has been created by “Bjorn”, a big fan from Gilmour tone.
He has gathered tons of pictures, specs, material, info and amps/pedals configurations.
He also talks about every kind of Amp and how it can achieve some sort of gilmourish tone.
Spoiler: GILMOUR have used mainly Hiwatts and fenders.
Well, take a look at the website. I think that you will be surprised on how much info that guy has uploaded onto his site.
Bear in mind that these musicians have the best amps, with tons of headroom and wattage.
So sometimes can be hard to get that exact tone haha.
But I think you will be ok!
Good luck my friend!!
Take care.
G.

It may be kind of difficult to get A7Xs tone with an orange crush. Maybe I’m wrong but if I remember right those amps don’t have much distortion on them. For me I just have a VOX with a good distortion channel and I usually keep the treble half way and the gain at 10:00. But it’s all depending on the type of amp you have. Pink Floyd…I have no clue cause they aren’t really my favorite band and I don’t listen to them much
