This is part 1 of a quick tutorial for “Strength of the World.” I mostly did this because @jak is looking for help setting up her video recording, and I wanted to make sure my setup was solid before I tried to give advice. Two birds, one stone. This is the opening clean part and string section of “Strength of the World.” It’s hard for me to gauge whether something is “easy” or not, but I can promise you there’s no fast playing at all here, and it should be achievable for beginner-level players. I probably should have run through the material a few times before I hit record, as I got lost a couple times, but oh well. If anyone needs any tips or tricks or clarity or anything, hit me up.
I’ll try to do another vid soon talking about the importance of constant string muting. It is perhaps the most critical part of playing cleanly (I still haven’t mastered it, but I can TEACH it!).
Good luck!
