Hey guys and dolls! If you want to watch A7X live at Rock on the Range, follow the link for the official live stream! I think some of our boys do interviews, too!

Sorry for replying to myself three times, but as I watch this, all I can think is that this is a must-watch for all the people here who get down on themselves for mistakes. Syn makes a bunch.
Wanna guess how many fucks he gives about them?
The same amount as the whole audience there.
    NOT ONE.
It’s part and parcel of a live performance. And it’s brilliant and awesome.

I’m sure they’re tired as hell, too. Syn said some really awesome things about the school in the pre show interview!! I’m sure he cares a little, but ultimately he’s aware of them and never calls himself perfect. Hell in the pre show interview, he joked and said, “I’m intermediate. I was a beginner until about two years ago. ”
    Love him.

Johnny and Brooks were on fucking fire. Johnny’s screaming has improved so much, and Brooks is just so hard-hitting on drums. Was totally worth getting up at 5 AM for the live stream haha.
And yeah, I also noticed Syn making quite a few mistakes, but it’s what makes him human after all. I have so much respect for him because he knows how to own those mistakes.

awesome show, but im seeing matt kinda struggling with some notes (which is totally justified, for their songs are really really hard to sing), and i would really like a7x to lower their tuning a semi tone so that shadows doesnt lose the power in his voice
On another note wow, the concert stream was really well made, with all the cameras and the audio

Alan, I think matt’s voice has a lot of wear and tear. On the album he gets an unlimited amount of attempts to make it right, live not so much. I feel matt has a bit of leeway due to the fact that he’s had a couple things done to his voice to keep him going. He’s gotten much better at it tho over the years. His range has dramatically improved over the years too.. hes getting better at being more powerful sounding, without using as much power as it sounds like hes using.
I also imagine months on tour can get to you after a while too lol
